St. Thomas Anglican Church is a family friendly, traditional, evangelical, orthodox Anglican Church located in Mountain Home, Arkansas. We believe in justification by faith, in Christ’s death, burial and resurrection, and that the Bible contains all that is necessary for people to know in order to be saved.

Our commitment is to make disciples of all true believers, people who will bear fruit for the Lord. We hope that each of our members and guests will find a thoughtful, biblical service every Sunday, inspiration for the coming week, and a genuine commitment in our clergy and staff to our members, guests, and to our community.

What is happening in the Church now?

We are excited about the growth in the church. We started in a small, renovated beauty shop behind a chiropractors office only a few years ago, and have recently built and moved into a beautiful new church on the east side of Mountain Home, which is a rapidly growing area near Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Home Depot and Chili’s.

This May our Presiding Bishop dedicated the church and we ordained a postulant to the deaconate. Now that we are settled we hope to expand our ministry through new service projects in the community.

Where is your parish?

Our parish is Baxter County, Arkansas and the county seat, our home called Mountain Home, was featured by the Wall Street Journal as a top resort and retirement community. The area is a renowned outdoors destination. It was featured by Field and Stream Magazine as its #2 Best Fishing Town in America. Nestled between two of Arkansas’s largest lakes (Bull Shoals and Norfork), and the nearby the Buffalo, Norfork and White Rivers, Mountain Home is a unique, quiet place, but one with a bustling economy and vibrant outdoor life.

We are happy to offer a traditional worship experience and a place where our community and families can gather and grow together for the glory of God.

Please take a moment to browse our site and see if our congregation is where you would like to make your home. If you have any questions please contact one of us for more information.

Why the name “Anglican”?

We are part of the Continuing Anglican Movement, which seeks to preserve the ideals and goals of the English Reformers (see About Us).

We use the term Anglican because we trace our roots back to the Church of England.
